Since the 90s JB Hunt have been developing homegrown software to continuously improve their business operations. The different software development team support different departments and operate independently from each other. This has created a unique user interface for each system causing inconsistencies in the interface and retraining as end user switching from one system to another. The User Interface Standard Document addressed this issue by documenting the different systems, interviewing end users, and managers on best practices. Working along with the Software Architect Team, they came up with the standards that have been adopted by different teams moving forward. Creating a consistent look and feel across different systems and improvements in the user experience.

Solutions Resource worked with the City to map out a new business process for how city departments will use or interact with a new centralized ADA tracking system. We used the documented business process to inform and produce a set of specific and comprehensive system and application requirements that can be used by a software/application developer to build, test and implement this new system. Our output was a documentation of the business process using a centralized tracking system (with citywide ADA compliance).

Solutions Resource was tasked to identify, document, recover and secure all agency content and data associated with all known and unknown agency programs, platforms, systems, interfaces, tools, and accounts. We also provided recommendations for a comprehensive, long-term, sustainable strategy for agency information systems and security. The 160 hour sprint delivered web app fixes for the Office of Superintendent.
